Emma & Mark Celebrate their Toronto Wedding at The Beautiful Evergreen Brickworks

When you think of Toronto, what's the first thing that comes to mind? That beautiful CN Tower and skyline? The hustle and bustle of downtown? The lush greenery of our many parks? If you answered yes to any of the above, then you may find that Evergreen Brickworks is the ultimate Toronto Wedding Venue. The 515 Photo Co. team took full advantage while photographing Emma & Mark’s stunning wedding there last June.

Emma and Mark's love story began at the prestigious Ivey Business School at Western University. Little did they know that their connection would only grow stronger over the next six years, leading them towards one of the most beautiful wedding experiences we have ever seen.

It was during a road trip to Laguna Beach, California, that Mark decided to take their relationship to the next level. With the stunning backdrop of the beach and the sounds of waves crashing, he got down on one knee and proposed to Emma.

Of course Emma exclaimed a resounding, “Yes!”, and the rest is history… well, a little wedding planning first, then history.

Having always envisioned getting married in Toronto, surrounded by their loved ones, Emma and Mark knew exactly what they wanted. Both of them loved the outdoors and the many beautiful green spaces that Toronto offers. Therefore, it was no surprise when they decided to choose the stunning Evergreen Brickworks as their wedding venue.

The couple had a clear vision in mind for their special day - a modern rustic wedding that blended natural beauty with refined elegance. Enter one of Toronto’s most excellent planners, Ashley Pigott. The venue's natural rustic charm was enhanced with carefully chosen elements, creating a totally romantic atmosphere.

In preparation for the big day, Mark visited My King & Bay to have a custom suit tailored to his preferences. Meanwhile, Emma worked closely with Kim Ironmonger of Valencienne to create a beautiful couture gown. Valencienne has a special connection to Emma's family, having designed wedding dresses for several of her family members over the years. Emma's dress was a true masterpiece, adorned in French lace, perfectly capturing her unique personality and style.

For Emma and Mark, the guest experience was the most important part of the wedding day puzzle. They wanted their loved ones to feel truly special and to celebrate to their max the entire wedding weekend. The day began with a heartfelt ceremony, held outdoors amidst olive branches and gorgeous florals designed by Toronto’s Stemz. Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a delightful cocktail hour and reception, while we stole the couple away for some truly magical golden hour photos.

The evening was filled with laughter, heartfelt speeches, and (perhaps most importantly) delicious food, catered by 10tation. As the night progressed, the dance floor came alive, thanks to the incredible energy and talent of Sole Power, ensuring that the celebration continued well into the night.

Emma and Mark's wedding was not just a celebration of their love but also a tribute to the city they called home. They highlighted the best of Toronto, showcasing its natural beauty and vibrant energy to their guests, and made us proud to call ourselves Toronto’s Best Wedding Photographers. It was a day filled with love, happiness, and unforgettable memories that Emma, Mark, and their loved ones will cherish for a lifetime, all photographed by yours truly, 515 Photo Co.
