Villa Petriolo: One of Tuscany’s Best New Wedding Venues

Nestled in the heart of Tuscany, sits the historic and organic Estate, Villa Petriolo. Or as we like to call it, Tuscany’s Hottest New Destination Wedding Venue. It’s no surprise that here at 515 Photo Co. we love a destination wedding, especially an Italian Destination Wedding. But even we were surprised by the beauty and versatility of this new venue.

When you think of your dream Italian Destination Wedding, what comes to mind?

Phenomenal food, delicious local wine, a generous and lovely staff, and breathtaking views for endless photo locations possibilities? Villa Petriolo checks all of those boxes and then some. Villa Petriolo is not just an estate but the perfect balance between Tuscan nature and Renaissance art.

Here’s what you’ll absolutely love about hosting your wedding weekend at Villa Petriolo.

First of all, the versatility of the grounds themselves will blow you away. From farm to table, this organic estate is a hotel within a villa within a farm, offering three restaurants on site, a pool, vineyard, and lest we forget a newly opened spa. Villa Petriolo  offers a full Tuscan experience in a single location. Further, with the option to do a buyout of the entire property, your guests could enjoy an immersive Tuscan wedding celebration enjoying multiple locations for welcome parties, wedding day ceremony, cocktails, receptions, and farewell brunches.

Wondering what a gorgeous September wedding at Villa Petriolo looks like?

Our team had the honour of capturing Carly & Roman’s beautiful day this past year. C+R chose to get ready at the Villa, in one of their luxurious private suites, before traveling into the historically rich city of Florence for their church ceremony (conveniently less than an hour away). Post ceremony, the couple took to the cobblestone streets of Florence, a stunning backdrop for their couples photos.  After enjoying a post-ceremony drive through the Tuscan countryside back to the Villa, they then joined their guests for an epic soiree of cocktails, delicious food and wine, and dancing under the stars. Are you ready to book your tickets yet?

Why should you get married in Italy, you ask?

If these photos haven’t convinced you, let’s take a broader look at the benefits of traveling to Italy for your destination wedding. First of all, it’s stunning! Second of all, the climate…from April to October you’re almost guaranteed some of the most picturesque weather a couple planning a wedding can dream of. It’s an extended summer perfect for couples looking for warm weather date options beyond the short window of summer in Canada and the northern US.

On top of your magical wedding, how else would your guests benefit from a rich Tuscan experience?

Like we mentioned, you are one hour away from Florence, one of Italy’s most culturally rich cities, with art, music and even more delicious food. Similarly, you are one hour away from Sienna with multiple options for incredible experiences in between. For your guests who are taking time out of their schedule to come share your special day with you, this area gives them unlimited options of activities and trips they can take with their remaining time abroad. For example, are you looking to experience the Italian Coast? Forte Dei Marmi is a chic coastal town that is also just one hour away and if your guests have the time and are feeling adventurous, they could easily explore neighboring countries like Spain, or France after their time in Italy.

For North Americans looking for a venue for their destination wedding. Look no further than Villa Petriolo. Have we convinced you to book your Italian Destination Wedding yet?
